Bruno Rambaud is vice president and managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa for Rockwell Collins. He is a key member of the company’s International Business organization, which was created in 2008 to further increase its focus on commercial and government customers outside of the United States. He is specifically responsible for developing the company’s business and overseeing all of its operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Rambaud joined Rockwell Collins in 2009. Prior to his current appointment, he served for 11 years in senior management at Thales, most recently as executive vice president, Europe. In that position, he was responsible for the company’s operations in 15 countries, including nearly 50,000 employees. Previously, Rambaud was senior vice president and managing director of Thales’ Land and Joint Systems group, which he rapidly grew into the company’s largest business.
From December 1997 to November 1998, Bruno Rambaud served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Metaleurop, a company listed on the Paris Bourse.
He was appointed in 1985 to the rail signaling department first at Jeumont Schneider, then at Alsthom after those businesses merged.
Rambaud is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and received an engineering degree from the Ecole Naionale des Ponts et Chaussees.
